Anantnag, Dec 14 (KNO): The broadband network of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) fibre is defunct for one week in Dooru area of South Kashmir's Anantnag district, subscribers said on Wednesday.
Due to the suspension of BSNL broadband network, the subscribers in south Kashmir's Dooru are unable to use the service.
The subscribers while speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), alleged that despite making several rounds of the concerned telephone exchange for their restoration of the service, yet, nothing except for disappointment has come to their hands.
Hilal Shah, a reporter working with a national news channel, told KNO that his work has suffered immensely and despite repeated complaints to officials the issue is not being sorted out. "Why should we pay for something which we don't get?" he asked, "This is sheer cheating".
Another subscriber said It has been around a week now, and my broadband is lying defunct. “This is badly affecting my studies," he said.
